You can reach the town of Ascona and Locarno in Switzerland in less than an hour, and the Ossolane Valleys towards Domodossola: Val Formazza with the Toce Fall, Valle Vigezzo also called Valle dei Pittori (Valley of the Painters) (with the small Centovalli train), the National Park of Valgrande, Valle Anzasca with Macugnaga at the foot of Monte Rosa and finally Val Bognanco and Valle Antigorio renowned for its mineral springs.
